It has been so long since the last time I read this book, and I can understand why this was one of my favorite series. Mia being a flawed character is something that I think is able to make her character so relatable. Because while she is totally delusional in some aspects of her life and is a tad bit overdramatic, this is something most teenage girls can relate to since they mostly exhibit both of those characteristics (I know I did, and probably still do).

Now what I get what the "kids" back then were into.

i enjoyed this thoroughly

I felt fourteen again (which is Mia's age in this book), which is a good sign. Entertaining and enjoyable without being annoying.

I was in desperate need for lighthearted fluff when I picked this one up. It definitely filled the bill, but what's strange is that it left me wanting more.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. To be fair, the movie barely resembles the book at all except for the very basic plot line. If you go into this book thinking of it as completely seperate from the movie, then I think you'll like it too. It was funny and sharp with a lot of pop culture references.

I really liked the journal entry format and I can't wait to pick up the second book.
