Rereading an old favorite of mine and I gotta say...I think I like the movie more? While I enjoy the diary format of this book (one of my favorite types of books, really), the story was kind of bland and I could have sworn there was more excitement in the first book? I know I read the first 5 or so in the series so I may be mixing them all up (or thinking of the movie), but this seemed to end so suddenly without very much princess-y stuff. I'm going to keep reading because it was a quick and fun read but I sure hope the princess adventures start up soon.
