I don't know what hole this crawled out of, but this is not my Princess Diaries, that is not my Mia Thermopolis, and that is NOT my queen! (No, I don't care that it came first). Mia was whiney, complaining all the time, annoying, and her only defining quality was that she was bad at math? That's it?! Disney vastly improved The Princess Diaries.

I ended up DNF-ing on page 39 after reading one too many jokes about sexual harassment and too many misogynistic themes.

DID NOT FINISH

I really didn't like this book. I really didn't care that Mia just became a princess though she didn't want to and a whole bunch of other blah and school drama. I read 100 pages (that's me giving the book a chance) but I dragged though it and didn't find a single reason to care or finish this book. It didn't really get interesting and this just reminds me how much I dislike realistic fiction and books written in journal entry form...

Розраховано на підлітків, і головна героїня часто дратує, але, на диво, присутній розвиток персонажа та в деяких місцях невластива героїні дорослість.

Натяки на те, що життя покращиться, щойно знайдеш собі хлопця (у 14 років) і купиш багато дорогих шмоток (у 14 років), не радують.
