W porównaniu do wielu młodzieżowych książek ta nie zestarzała się źle. Historia jest zabawna, a główna bohaterka nie irytuje na każdym kroku.

another childhood reread that idek how to rate bc it's not any better or worse than it was when i first read it at 11 ... i just get a kick out of being twice the main character's age now vs younger than the MC like i was on my initial readthrough

my comfort series mia is the most relatable character

Nostalgiaa

I can't recall having read this when it came out, though I have seen the movies. A light read.

Mia is so dramatic & honestly same

3.5/5 - I’ve never read this series but have always meant to. I was pleasantly surprised by how the movie compares to the book. I feel like the movie did a great job capturing the tone of the book. I also felt that Mia’s voice sounded really authentic—it really felt like I was reading a teenage girl’s diary. Some teens in YA fiction sound nothing like actual teenagers, but there were some parts of this book that felt like I was reading my own journal from when I was 14.

I love this book, and I especially enjoy listening to the audiobook :) I love how Mia is both flawed and lovable—we see her be compassionate, shallow, thoughtful, careless, and everything in between.
