I like the movie better.

My first time reading this book in English, so it’s all a bit new and yet so familiar. I absolutely love Princess Diaries ! It’s such a fun and easy book to read. Things happen and Mia is oh-so-dramatic but actually it’s more funny than dramatic and all is well that ends well!

Did not age well

A very nostalgic read for me and I think it holds up surprisingly well. It's just entertaining for me to get into the mind of a fourteen-year-old girl, being much further removed from that myself than I was the first time I read it. Had fun with it as a kid, had fun with it now, have no clue as to the value of this read apart from entertainment but it sure is great for that.

What more can I say besides that it's nostalgic and it's a classic?

This book is funny and clever—much more than I realized when I first read it at 13. It’s like a perfect cross between Damned and Bridget Jones’ Diary.

Wow they have books for one of my favorite movies! (Stop laughing I'm a sap). This was a cute read. The journal style isn't my favorite because I don't feel like I'm in the story I suppose. It was nice to read that the bad crap that happened in the movie happened differently and not as severely in the book. I love the last scene with her Grandmere! An entertaining read, made me remember and cringe being that age haha. I definitely look forward to reading the rest of the series. I hope it goes farther than the movies did.
