Definitely not as good as the first one. It was almost too much for me as far as how many twists and turns were in the book as well as switching POV between Cassia and Ky every other chapter. However, I am looking forward to seeing where it leads.

Yeah...It was a pretty book but I think it didn't happen that much. Personally I think it was a little bit flat sometimes. But I still want to read the sequel, just to see how the story ends. I think this book has so much potential but I still didn't enjoyed it so much. Maybe because of the too many poetry references. But this is what I think so maybe you'll like it ;)
As I was anxiously awaiting this sequel to Matched, I was quite disheartened when my college roommate posted to Facebook that she was disappointed by Ally Condie's latest. During our quest for higher education, Laura and I shared a love of Dawson's Creek, Felicity and Boy Meets World. Thus, I trust her opinion on adolescent angst media. And she was very right of course. Crossed was no Matched. But I will still read the next installment because only quitters read 2/3 of a trilogy.
I think I'm done reading this series. I like the characters and the plot ok, but it just seems like the story drags on and it's a chore to finish it.

I really like "Matched" and couldn't wait to read "Crossed" It wasn't bad, it was just a slower read. I don't feel like I learned that much more, but it did build more of the characters personalities while introducing some new ones. I can't wait to read the 3rd and find out what becomes of Ky and Cassia.
