I’ve just been really busy the last few weeks and had to return it to the library:/ I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump since bunny

I trusted Vitória as a narrator because I never felt like I was being asked to buy into her narrative, she only presented the world as she saw it. She feels very relatable in her dissatisfaction with what she feels like she’s meant to have in life.

The plot isn’t exactly the most… enthralling thing ever, I’ll admit. It’s a pretty typical story of a woman subverting gender roles, as she’s focused on writing whatever comes to her mind. But I’m the kind of person who doesn’t necessarily read for plot, I focus a lot on what kind of things the words make me feel, and there were several little bits in it that really made me think about things when it came to writing and art. A brief and good read, I left it feeling pretty happy.
