The Deep Six Security Series is back again, with just as much action and adventure as the previous 4 books. Not only is there action, but there are hysterics that will keep you laughing as you turn the pages quickly to get to the finale. This is a total one sit read.
This book is exactly what happens when the quiet accountant finally leaves the desk and tries to help the damsel in distress. Only that damsel is not asking for his help, and she is running from the mob and the FBI, but she doesn’t really know it.
The fun and banter, the sexual tension and the fighting is just what makes a Becky McGraw book so worth missing a whole day to read it. To say that I have my calendar marked for the next one with an alert as to when it comes out, is an understatement. I LOVE Deep Six Security!

I was lucky enough to win an ARC of Gray Matter. I was so happy, I could have cried. I cannot begin to tell you how long I have waited for the uptight accountant's story to be told. It was worth every breath I took while I waited and dreamed of what trouble Becky McGraw would put him through.

This is book 5 in the Deep Six Security series and it features Grayson Jennings and Michaela "Mickey" Girabaldi. The story was exhausting in a very good way. The action was constant and the story line involved a lot of variables but was easy to follow. Michaela was the typical New Jersey Italian woman. Funny as hell! I was a little irritated with Grayson for his constant fickleness towards Michaela. I realize he'd been burned before but he was brutal and she deserved better.
The characters in this story were unbelievably amazing! Even though this is book 5 in the series, it can be read as a standalone. I'm excited to see who gets the next adventure.

Oh, those Deep Six Security guys, you just have to love them. These are some bad*ss guys, and they get into more hot water than they can handle sometimes. Take Grayson Jennings, for example. He's just trying to do his job, setting up the next office for the Deep Six folks, when he is blindsided by a very small, very feisty, very Italian whirlwind with plenty to hide.
Michaela 'Mickie' Girabaldi has definitely found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time. On the run from some very bad men, Mickie's just looking for a way to stay alive. When her search brings her to the offices of Deep Six Security, and a second meeting with Gray Jennings, she's less than thrilled.
I love this series, and Becky McGraw might have just written my favorite of them yet with GRAY MATTER. While there is plenty of the usual suspense, I found myself laughing out loud at the banter between Gray and Mickie. Clearly, neither one was ready for what they'd gotten themselves into, and there is plenty of humor, as well as scenes so steamy that a fan and a cool drink are nice to have on hand.
Having all of the usual suspects on hand to keep things jumping was a pleasure, and meeting Mickie's brother, Dante, seems like a great lead-in for another book that Becky needs to give us. All in all, GRAY MATTER is 4 action-packed, sexy, laugh until you cry stars, and a definite must-read for fans of the Deep Six books.
