I liked it more than I expected to
I was a bit frustrated with some whining behavior, especially since Zac is around thirty. I kind of understood the moody system behavior with how he was at the beginning. I didn't expect the incursion surprise but it was definitely spectacular. I like who Zac is becoming better once he's interacting with people again, regardless of species or race. The foreshadowing at the end makes me anticipate the next book more.

Ong just realized I downloaded the epub that has the first 6 books in the series in one. No wonder it took so fucking long 💀 I feel like I've been robbed of a better experience in reading this series, from how long it took for just one book it got tiring but I felt determined to finish it as best as I can aslo as fast as I could cuz there were times where I just wished it ended. Gonna take a break from reading the rest, I feel like if I do I'll just hold some resentment.
