I'm glad I gave this series another chance after having read [b:Rookie Move|27190530|Rookie Move (Brooklyn Bruisers, #1)|Sarina Bowen|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1456486844s/27190530.jpg|47232527]. I thoroughly disliked Rookie Move, mostly due to Georgia, but really loved Hard Hitter. I especially loved Patrick as the hero - in fact, I would have loved more of the hero in this book. It focused so much on Ari and her drama, that we didn't get enough time inside either the hero or the heroine's head to learn more about them.
