This is my second book by Denise Williams and she’s absolutely incredible! The characters are loveable, the story is sweet, and the pacing is perfect! This book was a bit harder to read just by the nature of some of the back story. Content warning for abuse (physical and emotional). I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Naya and Jake are so good together! I loved their flirty banter and their wholesome date interactions. The storyline about Naya’s trauma from being in a past abusive relationship was very important and carefully executed. I really appreciated her growth through survivorship

It's been a bit since I read this but I enjoyed this book quite a bit. I thought the writing was solid and the character / plot balance was as well. I am very much looking forward to reading the sequel.
