The Sunshine Court: ★ ★ ★ ★
Nora Sakavic
Tropes:
– Sports series
– Found family
– Grumpy/sunshine
– Hurt/comfort
“You are Jean Moreau. Your place is here with me, with us. I’m your captain. You’re my partner. We’re supposed to be doing this together, aren’t we? Stop leaving me behind. Look at me.”
God, being back in this world is… a feeling unlike any other. My heart was hurting for Jean the entire book—the things these kids went through at Edgar Allen…
The JerJean of it all is EVERYTHING. Jeremy is a ray of sunshine and even though Jean is so prickly and rude and HURT, Jeremy doesn’t give up. He’s the sweetest, most positive angel who wants to help and is always by Jean’s side. I need more of them like I need air!!!!

Just so much pain. And the lil glimpses of the Foxes throughout made my heart swell. I just love all these poor, dumb kids so so so much. The JerJean of it all is EVERYTHING. Jeremy is a ray of sunshine and even though Jean is so prickly and rude and HURT, Jeremy doesn’t give up. He’s the sweetest, most positive angel who wants to help and is always by Jean’s side.
