An unbelievable and beautiful end not just to the life of Hari Seldon, but to the Foundation, Robots and Empire universe as a whole. Well done, Asimov! I truly don’t think I’ve read an entire universe of books before that felt like, in its entirety, that they complimented each other as well as these books did to each other.

Jest o wiele lepiej niż w preludium. Wraca podział na kilka oddzielnych historii, co robi książce na dobre. Asimov zdecydowanie zyskuje przy krótszej formie opowieści, gdzie przede wszystkim ma wybrzmieć jakiś pomysł i angażujący twist. O ile te zwroty akcji często są trochę naciągane, to wciąż czyta się je dobrze i w końcu udało się Asimovowi zagrać na emocjach, zwłaszcza w ostatnich rozdziałach, mimo że postaci w Fundacji ogółem uważam za bardzo sztywne i sztuczne.
