'The First Cat in Space Ate Pizza' by Mac Barnett with illustrations by Shawn Harris is a graphic novel about a lunar crisis and the feline who might just save us all.
When a large part of the moon is discovered as missing, a mission to save the moon sends a cat and a peculiar robot to find the culprits and save the day. Along the way, the duo meets a collection of oddball characters who become allies and enemies.
This over the top adventure is laugh out loud funny. The situations are just silly and I really enjoyed reading this. This is a great read for kids and kids at heart.
I received a review copy of this graphic novel from HarperCollins Children's Books and NetGalley. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.
