This book was the definition of even if the character is right, it’s hard to care if they’re annoying. While I understood Cait’s struggle, she was annoying which made her very hard to read about. Despite this, I will continue reading because the cliffhanger (kidnapping) is going to leave me annoyed if I don’t see the end

Wolf Kissed is the first book in the Luna Marked series. In this, you will meet Cait and Roman. In the beginning, things were intense and awkward on the sunny beaches of Australia. She thought he was a creep with amazing abs and muscles. He wanted to know what games she was really playing.

So, when they both show up on his pack lands in Texas it's safe to assume their reactions are fully surprised. She is definitely thrown into a world she knew as make believe and he's still trying to figure out what she really is. Throw in being mates on top of all that and it's a hot mess. One that was very hard to look away from.

The only thing I really liked about this book was how fast the pace was. I do think the drama and her constant whining was annoying though. Hopefully things change in the next book since she was an idiot and got herself kidnapped. I'm also wondering if someone in his pack helped plan this little thing and betrayed him.

In the end, I definitely need answers so I will jump in the sequel now.

Loved that the fmc didn't just fall instantly in love with the alpha because of the mate bond. She still had the feelings but also fought for her independence. Only thing that didn't make sense was why the Luna mark suddenly appeared, was it because she was in proximity to her mate? Also why didn't Roman try harder. Yes give her space but he didn't even try to get to know her after the first dinner.

It has only been a few days since I finished this book and I already want to read it again! The wait for the next book is going to be excruciating!

Cait is such a strong character, I really enjoyed how Cait didn't just jump into this willing to accept everything. She fought her circumstances and didn't just accept the mate bond right from the get go and that added so much more to the story. I loved her interactions with Roman. He is that strong alpha type but he is so patient with Cait its wonderful! I can't wait to see how he handles things in the next book! This does have a cliffhanger but it was so good and you should still read it!

If you loved shifter books you need to add this to the top of your list because it was amazing and kept you engaged the whole time.

Too YA for me.

This was not bad, just not to my taste.
I did manage to finish it, with only minimal skimming, that says a lot.

For the most part this was really well written. In my 20s I would have loved this.
But now, I’m a ‘little’ older

What an Ending

In love with this book, the first in the series. I like all the characters - Cait, Roman, Embry, and Vaughn make an interesting group. I don’t want to have to wait until November to find out what happens next! Greatly enjoyed this unique take on the shifter world.

easy to read, nice enough to maybe read book 2 if I managed to read more than I do right now ^^
