Another home run! A new twist on pack mates!! I can't wait to see what's in store for Roman and Cait.
Holy story, Batman!
This was such a great story. I was immediately hooked and drawn in. I loved that the main character was so independent and not a Mary Sue. I loved this book. Need more now!

Excellent new series from the amazing Heather Renee! This one just hooked me from the first chapter! And Em and Cait’s friendship is just like so many of my friend and I who are best friends but have never met in person! Can’t wait to see what’s next!
I just can’t….
I finished this book by the skin of my teeth. Cait was literally so annoying that I wanted to reach inside the book and choke the life out of her. Literally. No “human” looks at their free will THAT seriously. Like Ms. Girl, you need to move on bc you’re putting a damper on everybody around you. At that point I was just ready for her to leave and let Roman have a mate that actually wanted him.

Well, okay. With the way this ended, I definitely want to read the next one because I have to know how that turns out. That being said, I'm not quite sure how I actually feel about this.
Overall, it seemed like nothing really happened. Like, the mark showed up, Cait complained she didn't want her life decided for her, everyone else tried to point out that things weren't like she'd thought and then the cliffhanger happened. Yes, there was a little digging and there was some stuff discovered about what the mark meant and who Cait might be but at the same time there wasn't.
On the one hand, Cait wasn't bad. She handled everything pretty well all things considered. There were a couple of freakouts but otherwise she was mostly dealing. I did get frustrated because she seemed to be all over the place on her feelings. While she maintained that she didn't want the mark and she didn't want life decided for her, at the same time that really seems like that's what she needs. Not that I think she needs someone to tell her what to do all the time but she definitely needs an anchor of some kind. I'll admit that she was close to TSTL territory but she never quite crossed that line. She made some choices but usually she'd start thinking them through (after the fact but she's considering at least).
Roman was interesting and I do want to see more. While I liked that he acknowledged Cait had no idea about their way of life, so they couldn't do things the way they normally would, I felt like his need for a clean break came out of nowhere, especially when he/his wolf had been so gung-ho that she was their mate.
There'd better be something from the Not-Selene because that felt like it came out of nowhere. She obviously knew about Cait, so I have to wonder where that info came from. Really hope nothing happened to the real Selene or Embry. All told though, I do want to read at least the next book to see what happens, but really I'll probably finish this trilogy. There's potential here that I'm hoping pays off.

I love me a shifter book and Wolf Kissed was completely perfect! Heather Renee has an amazing way with her words and her world building is brilliant. Cait and Roman are literally everything. Cait even though she doesn’t fully comprehend everything that is happening she is rolling with the punches and is navigating this new life exceptionally well. Of course she has her moments where she does or says something but who would plus she is a strong independent woman. Roman is heart melting and it helps that he is hot AF too!!! These two together are fire and their chemistry is off the charts! Embry is literally the complete BFF package and I have a complete girl crush I love her so much. All of the secondary characters are amazing and I am seriously hoping we get learn more about them! I was completely grabbed from page one until the very last page where we are left with that WTH cliffy that leaves you like no this cannot be happening are you kidding me…. I need more ASAP. Author Heather Renee will have you all in your feelings through out this entire read. If you love a great Wolf Shifter story then this baby is for you. I 100% recommend grabbing this asap.
awesome start
Such an awesome start to the next series in the Mystics and Mayhem world. Cait kinda grinds my nerves just a little bit, but at least that sets her up for a lot of character growth. It was such a fun read and I read through it really quickly.
