She did it again!

Every time I read a Mia Sheridan book, i think it is my favorite, and they all become my favorite. I love her writing style and the emotional roller coaster I go on in her books.

I went into this book blind, which I do normally. And I enjoyed this book. This book is considered to be a romance book however I probably would categorize it under YA. The characters and the plot just seemed more YA. However, if you are going to read this book, even though I would characterize it as more, YA, there was some spice in the end. The narrators really enhance this book. I loved their ability to enhance each character and give more depth to the character characters. All in all this book was a solid three stars the narration I would give a four star for.

I don't understand why so many are complaining about a book following people from the start of an apocalyptic event from one side of the country to the other. If 99% of modern modes of transportation do not work, of course people will seek out all other modes to help with their 1,000+ mile trek. So them constantly looking out for a ride wasn't an issue. Also, yes, there is a lot of opportunity for introspection, growth, and working on interpersonal relationship with those around you.

I think that the nature of what most people might fall victim to doing was accurate in the book.

Were there infuriating parts in the books on behalf of both the FMC and MMC? yes. But overall it was not a bad book. I enjoyed the journey.
