It's entirely my fault for ruining the reading experience of the book by rushing through the last few chapters, just cause I couldn't wait to read the ending. Still great though
A happy ending with few loose ends is something I really did not expect. Pretty fun despite the sometime strange slowness and all-around emoing by just about everyone.

Although I can see how this would be perceived as looooong and slooooow, especially since the most action-packed parts of it are about halfway through the book, I loved this. #Spoilernotspoiler Fitz finally, after six books gets his happily-ever-after, but it's tinged with enough realism and poignancy that it's believable.
as i have said before, no words could describe what these characters make me feel. thank you, once again, robin hobb.
