I enjoyed this slow-burn holiday romance by author Tessa Bailey. I've read a lot of holiday romances in the past couple of years, and this one stands out with its unique storyline. Department stores and their window displays are a quintessential part of the commercial holiday experience, and this was the first Christmas story I've read that deals so closely with them. I liked both of the main characters, and appreciated that most of the drama was from outside of their relationship.

tengo que admitir que la novela te da lo que te dice que te va a dar, ni más ni menos, te da lo que promete y está bien simplemente ha sido un poco rol de tuenti de "me choco contigo en el autobus y nos enamoramos" lo cual es gracioso pero poco creíble (de verdad que tan poco creíble es lo del bus como lo que ocurre en este libro)

I really enjoyed this book! This was my first Tessa Bailey book, and I am already planning on reading more. For such a short book, Bailey is able to create very complex characters that I came to care about quite a bit. Not only are the main characters wonderful, but all the side characters are developed and easy to love (except for the ones we hate!).
Stella and Aiden are absolutely adorable, and I honestly would've been down to read a much longer story about them. I will say that the way that they met was...not my favorite. But considering how short the story is, I let that slide. This book is also very funny! Stella and Aiden's banter is wonderful, and the side characters? Hilarious! Especially Seamus and Leland!
I will say that I was not a fan of the way the sex scenes were written in this book. It was just random ways she worded things that completely took me out of the book. Also, if I have to read “buttocks” one more time in a sex scene, I’m just going to quit. Why do authors think that is sexy? For the love, just say ass. Please.
I am so happy that Stella was able to stand up for herself, set boundaries, and that Nicole respected those boundaries! I was really worried that once Stella finally confronted her, Nicole was going to have a fit and their friendship would be ruined. It was a happy surprise that they were able to work things out!
Despite my gripes, this is a wonderful, quick read, perfect for the holiday season. And I must say, it is a great introduction to the world of Tessa Bailey!

HORNIER THAN A PAIR OF JACKRABBITS HAHAHA oh my GOD that’s an understatement. Anyways, this was just a cheesy, hallmark Christmas romance that I ATE UP.
