My favourite graphic novel series. At the 13th volume, it's still epic and funny. I haven't liked the Jack of Fables spinoff as much as the original series... But this "crossover" (with characters from, um, the same universe) is definitely a good one.

I'm pretty sick of self-asborbed Jack. Minus every single part that Jack was involved in, I really enjoyed the crossover. So I'm gonna pretend he didn't almost ruin the book and give it a 4.

I. Hate. Jack. Glad that's over. At least there were kickass librarians? Even if they were filtered through a male chauvinistic perspective? Meh.

My first less than 4 star review. Still wonderfully illustrated, just not that good of a story.

Not the best of the Fables, imho.

Not for me. I don’t really like Jack as a character so hadn’t read the spin-off series which definitely would have cleared things up a wee bit.

UGH. Worst book of the series BY FAR. Blech. Jack is a total douche, not even in a funny way, and the whole literals thing? Booooooo. Not a fan.

Meh - not really a fan of Jack of Fables...

Couldn't get into (didn't like) this crossover issue and the Literals plotline.
