A book that spotlights being afraid of the dark and overcoming it! Laszlo and the dark coexist in the same house, and while Laszlo politely greets the dark everyday he still fears it.

The artwork is amaaaaaaazing. It so accurately captures the all-consuming nature of the dark. It also adds a delicious creep factor to the story as readers can't really be sure that Laszlo is in for a happy ending.

The writing is well done. It lends itself well to being read aloud and with just the right reader would be simply mesmerizing.

Recommended for PreK-2.

The Dark

A cute little story for those who are scared of the dark. I really enjoyed it and wrote a short review

It's fine.

I had higher hopes for a [a:Lemony Snicket|36746|Lemony Snicket|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1199734355p2/36746.jpg] and [a:Jon Klassen|3118934|Jon Klassen|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1320343513p2/3118934.jpg] collaboration. It was still nice though.

The book was relaxing and calming and makes feel like I want to sleep and drink my milk. I think the boy was scared of the dark in the beginning of the book and later i found out that the boy isn't afraid of the dark anymore. I'm excited to read more about this author and the books.
