I love this book! I was way past due for a reread, and it literally felt like I was reading this book for the first time again! It's so easy to fall in love with Emily Henry's writing style, characters, settings, etc., over and over again! I think she brings something so unique to the romance genre and I hope she actually lives forever and keeps writing as long as possible. I'm obsessed. Also -- give me David Corenswet as Charlie Lastra! Cowards!!!
I LOVE Emily Henry. She writes (mostly) believable romances that make you feel so warm and fuzzy, but are also intellectual. This was such a cute book and the writing was great. I loved how Nora stayed true to herself and even when she wasn’t necessarily a likable character…I still liked her.
I was looking back at my reviews for this authors other books and how I felt about them applies to this. Nothing groundbreaking, great characters, sort of cheesy but nice light story that tied together well.

It was more of like a 2.5. This is my first contemporary romance coming from reading mainly fantasy, paranormal, dystopian, and I can’t say that I’m the biggest fan sadly… a lot of the relationships fell flat for me and that may be partly my fault. I had come into this book expecting more tension between the MC and her love interest, but instead they seemingly got along well from the beginning. There was no real feelings of being enemies let alone rivals.
As for the sibling dynamics, it was fine. Nothing too noteworthy honestly.
This is not a bad book, it just simply wasn’t for me.
But I will try again with contemporary romance, because in every genre there must be at least one book that captures our heart <3

I fell in love with the characters, the setting, the romance, the family relationships.
For a second I thought it was gonna have a not so happy ending because of the clichés that were mentioned in the book, BUT you have NO IDEA how big my smile with the actual ending.
And I LOVE CHARLIE LASTRA, there, I said it.
Emily Henry is defffffffinitely one of my top romance authors, I love her.
