A tear jerker of a story and great for it.

I feel cheated. Per word, this was massively expensive.

Amping up for volume #9--

A short (especially by Outlander standards) story about Roger's parents during WWII and what exactly happened to them. It fills in some details if you've read the other stories in the series, and it's definitely not a standalone, so I'd only recommend it if you are already an Outlander fan.

loving it! I can't get enough Diana Gabaldon. Devoured this novella in less than a day. I always re-read the series before the next one come out. This was a wonderful addition

I don't think I will ever understand why they don't just keep Jerry with them, all the way back to the Ridge. Why send him to the 20th century and his death? Rodger doesn't even know why he sends him through the stones. No clear narrative rationale is ever provided.
