As entertaining as I remember these being, although this time with added benefit of side plots related to WWI. But I can see how one might tire quickly...
Loved reconnecting with old friends, albeit in a new light
This is a great follow up mystery to [b:O Jerusalem|77259|O Jerusalem (Mary Russell, #5)|Laurie R. King|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1320389276s/77259.jpg|2570140] because they share characters (besides Mary Russell and Sherlock, of course.)
Another Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes adventure. It was nice seeing two familiar secondary characters turn up again in an entirely different setting. Sometimes I get bogged down in the details but I'm always happy with the banter between Mary & Holmes and the ending was quite satisfactory.
