TW:. Attempted rape and a lot of off-ice fighting. Discussions of drug abuse/addiction.
This was much more intense than I assumed it would be, and it definitely toes the line between believability and "bananapants-crazy".
I kept thinking of the Gilmore Girls whenever Ryan's family or friends were mentioned...

As most of you know I took a sho—long break from reading, and I am finally back up and running. Off Sides is the first book I picked up since coming back around. I have to say that Sawyer Bennett kept me reading more with this first book to the “Off” Series.
Danny (Danielle) is a waitress, volunteer, and a college student all rolled into one amazing person. The main male model in the book is Ryan, a captain Hockey player, and has more money than he knows what to do with. This book hit me square in reality, and for that I need to...

WAAAAAY too much too fast. They're in love after just a week? Sorry, not buying it. This may be a sweet romance in the end, but it's entirely unbelievable. I just couldn't go there.

I liked the book! Maybe it was a bit too easy! I expected more drama over the parents (or mother) not wanting them to date! You never hear about the father, so for me that was a bit weird. Considering he's suppose to be the first born son and they have such high expectations of him!

So maybe a bit more drama, but over all it was a nice read!

A sweet read, but a little too fanciful for me, however, whilst I love the idea of love at first sight, I found this book just a little bit too unrealistic.

I LOVED IT !!!!<3

Honestly Danny and Ryan was sweet together they fell in love quickly but I Love them together and I Loved their story! I WANT MORE on Danny and Ryan! I am glad that I found that there was an epilogue separate from where I was reading the book on this link {https://www.goodreads.com/author_blog_posts/3801699-epilogue-release-off-sides } The Epilogue was GREAT!!!! I really want another book on Danny and Ryan! <3

Wow what a really good book. Ryan was just so sweet. I felt so bad for all the things Danny had to go through but she was so strong. I just totally fell for Ryan and Danny. 5 stars isn't enough for this book.
