This was a decent read. Ryan and Danny were likable characters and had good chemistry. The pace was a bit too fast though. After the first date they were practically ready to give up everything for each other and be together forever. It was a short book, so I kind of expected it to move along quickly, but considering they were strangers in the beginning it was pretty unbelievable.
Cute romance even though it wrapped up way too quickly. I still want to read the next one.
Cute wrong-side-of-the-tracks/hockey romance between the privileged jock and sassy, independent waitress who is putting herself through college. Little cliched, but it didn’t detract from this sweet romance! Pretty sure Hockey is my favorite sports romance.

Thank God for a smart hero. This is a book with the least amount of drama I've ever read, because our hero has brains to avoid them. I adore Ryan so much it's not even funny. But I do think Ryan and Danny's relationship develops too fast.
Overall, it's a quick and enjoyable read.

Nope! This book is sexist. Really.... i am rolling my eyes many times when reading this. Dany is suppose to be a fiesty young woman. At the beginning she is. Then after she met ryan, she becomes mussy needy young lady. I want to bitch slap her. Then ryan. What is his attraction toward DAny? There is no connection between them. They just falls in love with no appearance reason.
And just a observation, when u in a date, do not eat somethinh garlicky. The date between ryan and dany involves garlic bread which makes me rolled my eyes on disbelieve. What is miss Bennet thingking??
And there is so much sexism in this book. Like when ryan suggest dany to marry him so he can provide for her education does not sit well with me.
Anyway, i still enjoy a bit of this book. It was short novella.

A really sweet and cute read. It's one of those that has you cooing at each turn ot the page. You just want to curl up in your bed with hot chocolate and over-dose on the sugar rush.
I really enjoyed this chick lit about people from different sides of life finding each other and falling in love. Danny had been through so much but she still managed to hold her head up high and see the bright side to every situation. That was really inspiring.
There were some points in the story were I thought no guy would be that perfect, then after a while I was like: 'What the hell!'. You need a little bit of unrealistic moments once in a while. This book really won me over and I will definately be reading the sequele to this.
