So cute.. loved this story and free..doesn't get better!
I think I would have enjoyed this if I had read this about 2 or more years ago. It just wasn't enough for me. Not angsty enough. Not sports enough. Just not enough.
So where other people found this book a bit rushed I think it was just the speed I needed for the night. I felt like Yes they fell in love a little fast but the book was so fast paced that I did not really mind.
I felt for the most part the author did a great job of character development and incorporated this with the two characters falling in love. I did not feel that we really got to know Ryan's background except that his mother was a royal bitch. I would have liked to known his dad's stance on the whole thing.
I loved the other characters in the book and I feel as though everything was put together very nicely and the book had me from the beginning. It was fast paced and if you blinked you may miss out on something very important but I will definitely be reading the next book in the series.

This was very underwhalming. It reads very old and meh. Plus - people actually acting like people. I was worried to be smitten by misscommunication trope but but was pleasantly surprised that the main characters were able to actually communicate. Unfortunately, that was the only possitive. Main characters were meh, romance was meh, even the sex scenes were meh.
Not only is this horribly dated by the consistent mention of the game Angry Birds and then a PSP, the sexism and stereotypes in this book are so very early 2000s it’s painful. Horrible book with no redeeming qualities.
This was a short, sweet, opposite-sides-of-the-track romance. Danny's strength and resilience in the face of such hardship was inspiring, while Ryan's devotion to her and his willingness to accept and change with her was nice to read. I also just loved reading about Danny and Ryan's courtship. Even though it happened very quickly, I still enjoyed rooting for them because deep down part of me believes in being able to find "the One". I only wish we could have met Ryan's father, the Congressman, and get his take on Ryan's relationship with Danny.
Overall, it was a great read with a sometimes sickly-sweet hero. However, Ryan's charm and earnest demeanor more than made up for his overly sweet side--something I definitely won't fault him for. This is a must-read from [a:Sawyer Bennett|6950682|Sawyer Bennett|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1369316021p2/6950682.jpg], and I will definitely be continuing the series.
(And just a side note: I LOVED how the characters on the cover match the descriptions of them in the novel. One of my secret pet-peeves is when they do not match because I like being able to properly visualize them while I read--I feel it helps me connect with them more. Great work on the cover art. Love, love, love!)

@54%, I'm done.
This one reads like a young girl's Dear Diary entries. The H someone that only said young girl could dream up as the perfect prince.
I honestly don't know what to rate it. I listened to the Audible book and the narration is great. The writing is also good and flows at a nice pace. There's really nothing wrong with it other than I didn't like the gooey sweetness of the (unrealistic) story.

Too much benovelent sexism, too little actual chemistry between the main characters.
I really liked Danny at first, but her personality changed inexplicably during the book - she went from being a prideful and strong, to weak and emotional.
Ryan was... Meh. Too much stereotype, too little substance.
It's a genre book, that contributes nothing to the genre. Worth a read if you're new to the genre of college romance and want to learn all the tired tropes.

I feel I've read this or something very VERY similar before. My only complaint is the insta-love. I think the Sawyer Bennett could have easily stretched out the time frame a bit not needing to add or remove from the story. Just making things move a bit slower timeline wise to make it a bit more believable and make the love story just that bit more romantic instead of forced.
