Holy shit, what a wild ride! Probably one of my favorite mm romances of the year. Man all the plot twists I did not see coming and I’m usually good at predicting plot twists and these stunned me 100% I also don’t usually like dystopian books cause they bum me out but this one is done well! Nordika gives her characters so many dimensions, and it’s really refreshing. You don’t always see that much in a mm romance. I mean these characters are complex as fuck, and sometimes made me wanna rip my dang hair out lol.

“I fucking pick you too, Zaden. Every goddamn time. I pick you.”

I went into this story completely blind like I do most and I'm so happy I did. This book does have some triggers so if that's a concern please check those out before reading.

This was such a unique take on a dystopian future with the Grey Area and a group of people who decided they just didn't want to go back to being governed when the world got it's shit together so they built their own societies and lived by their own rules.

The story was full of twists and turns keeping me on the edge of my seat until the very end. Which left me just wanting more of all the characters. I loved all the individual relationships and seeing the character development as they progressed and how accepting/ understanding they all were with each other and their.. coping mechanisms .. yeah let's go with coping mechanisms (trying not to spoil anything here).

I only wish there was more to this story.. I'm sad it's over these characters and their world will be something I think about often and this will probably go into my reread rotation for when I hit book slumps.

This book was delightful. I went in very very very blind with no clue except that there was MM in it. This book excelled on all counts. I loved Cadoc and Zade and Kei and Finn... The way it was written you couldn't help but want them to get their happy endings as twisted as they were. I loved the dystopian twist to everything that happened though I kind of wish we got more of it and more of an explanation. I do want to make sure people check their triggers.. there are many things that could be triggering but this book is amazing!!!

Holy Smokes was this story wild and crazy. I've had it sitting in my kindle app to read for a few weeks now, and I'm sad I didn't read it right away. Cuz it was freaking amazing. It kind of blew me away. Definitely a must read!
