Out of all of the Colleen Hoover books I have read, this one was the worst.
Spoiler alert ahead:

Tate is so irritating, whiny, and annoying. Miles is weird – his flashback chapters about Rachel read like Joe's inner monologue from the show "You." He's obsessed with this girl from the moment he meets her but it doesn't come off cute, it's kind of creepy. The whole step-sibling thing was interesting but wasn't even as juicy as it could have been. They tell their parents and they get angry immediately and there isn't a ton of awkwardness. Then, of course, the major plot twist is... a CAR ACCIDENT. Like hello??? Colleen has used this as the big sad tragedy in way too many of her books. How many of her books need a car wreck? It's sooooo overdone and boring! Back to Tate – she had zero ounces of self respect, had very little personality, and was so SO stupid and corny. This man told her he wanted to have casual sex like 20 times and her inner monologue was still like "I think he'll fall in love with me." It was so delusional but not even in a cutesy fun delulu way. In a WTF way.

Awful book, boring plot, stupid and overused plot twist, and not even a great message about love after loss – there are better options out there about that topic.
