REREAD. I like their new territory a lot ! I think more than the original forest, even if the og forest makes me nostalgic. I’m so proud of Squirrelflight, becoming the first warrior in the new territory. I’m sad for Tallstar, I liked him a lot he was a good leader and I can’t wait to read Tallstar’s revenge. Onewhisker will made a good leader, I’m pretty sure. I loved Leafpool in that book, she’s one of my favorite character but in this book she’s so cool, she found the Moonpool! I truly hate Hawkfrost and I don’t trust him, I think Mudclaw didn’t lie and I hate Brambleclaw for being so naive.

Reread March 24, 2020 - March 30, 2020. And another one finished! I daresay I might actually be able to keep up with the official reread going on at this pace and be able to read the new releases this year!

So, this book definitely cemented the fact that I am in fact a FeatherCrow shipper instead of LeafCrow. Like. Where did that even come from? Crowfeather was just being an absolute jerk and Leafpaw was rightly aggravated by it, and Cinderpelt comes in with all this "remember ur a medicine cat, don't go falling for anyone" and "not thinking of a certain WindClan warrior HM?" and it all just feels so forced. FeatherCrow was super cute because you could see them slowly start to care for each other and was just all around more believable. I am now operating on the headcanon that Cinderpelt saw what was going to happen and ended up pushing Leafpool into it, so that certain pivotal events would end up taking place. Even though it really didn't have to happen that way, StarClan decided to be stupid about it and likes making Leafpool suffer.

Also, Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight are driving me up a wall. I totally get where each of them is coming from, but if they would just communicate!! And to think this is only the start of their problems..... At least we have best couple Sorreltail and Brackenfur finally paired up. I love them, goodness.

Anyway, on to the next book I suppose. I keep going on the wiki against my better judgement and seeing even more spoilers than I already have because I'm too impatient to get there myself even though I want things to be a surprise!! I have no self-control. Twilight here we come!
