I am totally smitten, in love, and CHARMED by Kayley Loring's newest book!!

Nico Todd hasn't been looking for long term, but it is said, when you find the ONE, you just know. Nico is drawn to the new waitress at a diner close to his home and no matter what he tries to tell himself (which his inner monologues are hilarious) he can't tear himself away from the beautiful, red-lipped woman, even when she turns down his charm.

Kat Dempsey works hard at avoiding Nico's flirting. Yes, she isn't a complete idiot, but she is a single mother with a six year old son and she doesn't have room in her life for a gorgeous musician (much to her body's dismay).

When these two are together the chemistry is seriously hot, but even when they are not you will find yourself laughing over their inner thoughts or swooning over their relationship ride.

As far as Nico Todd is concerned, he is simply adorable! I want all of his focus, attention, and smooth talking charm sent my way. Between him and Shane (from Kayley's Sleeper book and also Nico's best friend) I don't know whom I love more, they are both amazing.

Kat's son, Tate, is super cute! Books with tenacious, precious children are my ultimate kryptonite and not only do you get Tate, but you also get a brief bite of Shane's twins who give Nico a run for his money. Kayley writes the best scenes with children so be prepared to be entertained.

This entire book was excellent from beginning to end. Every character was brilliant. You will not go wrong picking up this charming story today!

There are times I need a story that will not only make me fall in love, but make laugh, tear up, love and just feel good. This book is it! Nico has his heart set on Kat, but being a famous singer, and being a child TV star has made me out of reach to her. Hiring her to document his tour seems to be a logical step to win her heart. But she has a son! And a mother! Just bring them along and see what happens. Now involved and falling for them all, things appear to be on track! But will it stay that way? Will he stay faithful? Will she be able to deal with his fame? And what about her son, Tate? With humor and passion, Kayley Loring gives us Charmer. Nico is swoon worthy! He is good looking and talented, but what makes easy to fall for is his heart. It's huge! He is wonderfully attentive and his scenes with Tate just melt me. Kat is independent, but she definitely holds a bit of insecurity. I love how she puts Tate first, yet wants to balance her life. And her mother is hysterical! The real scene winner is Tate. This little boy is energetic, curious and reminds me so much of my kids! If you want a book that will warm your heart and make you feel happy and make you laugh, pick this one up!

Kayley Loring takes care when casting her books, and Jason Clarke and Mackenzie Cartwright are perfect for this story. Clarke brings so much to Nico. He has that warmth to his voice, making him easy to fall for. And he sings! What a bonus because he is amazing! Cartwright finds the essence of Kat. She has the mother tone and the real woman feels. You can feel the switch, and I love how easy it is for her. Both have incredible comedic timing and truly enhanced this book. Loved their performance.

I loved Nico and Kat. Nico was adorably sweet when trying to woo Kat. I fell hard for him in the first pages and continued to swoon until the very end. I loved the slow burn of their relationship and the friendly banter they had instantly. There were several times I giggled and laughed out loud. Him wooing Kat was great but the love and care he showed Tate made my heart full.

I need more of this group of friends and Grammie, she had me laughing out loud almost every time she opened her mouth.

Nico is a musician/songwriter and former child-actor. He also is a lover of women. But lately he can’t think of any other woman but the beautiful waitress at the coffee shop. So he does everything he can to get her to go out with him.

Kat is a single mom who put her photography/documentary movies career on hold to raise him and give him everything she could.

This was another great read by Kayley Loring. It was cute, funny, and quirky. She wove a great story about how a single mom and a musician found love. Nico was soo swoon worthy how he not only fell for Kat, but her son also. The way he was when Tate’s father was in the picture, soo sweet!

A great read. I just want more like it!

Ugh. This was my least favorite out of the series - not saying I didn’t like it, but I didn’t love it like I loved Sleeper and Troublemaker.

Nico’s character was amazing. He really carried the book. His vulnerability from the first page really stole the show. He deserved so much better than what Kat was giving him.

Kat - yuck. I don’t even know how else to describe what I felt about her. She was too confusing and I really didn’t feel that she loved Nico like he deserved.

This book kept me smiling and laughing from start to finish!

Nico is a child actor turned actor who is drawn to Kat a single mom who works at the diner he frequents. Nico hires Kat to video behind the scenes on his new tour. My favorite part was how Nico formed relationship with not only Kat but her family especially with her son Tate. Charmer was just the book I needed to help me get out of my book funk and I love Kayley’s humor.

Jason Clarke and Mackenzie Cartwright’s performances were fantastic. Both narrators did an amazing job with capturing the emotions of their characters and voicing all the supporting characters. One of my favorite narrations from Jason and Mackenzie and added bonus is Jason singing!

The story and narration were both five star rating for me. If you need a good laugh and a feel good story definitely pick this one up!

The writing was witty and the banter between the MCs good. The story itself wasn't that complex but it was entertaining, i do wish there was more build up and depth to the romance between Kat & Nico and Nicos relationship with Tate but the chemistry between the MCs was good and the spice decent.🌶🌶

What a great read! I have looked forward to Nico’s story since reading Sleeper, and it did not disappoint! Unique, funny, quality main characters as well as a fantastic supporting cast and excellent storyline. Kayley Loring has once again written a feel-good story with some outright funny moments. From the first chapter I was hooked on this page turner.

Charmer was such a fun and engaging story. It really gave me the happy feels when I was reading it. Kayley Loring has quickly become a go-to author when I want to read a really witty, low angst, steamy romance.
