Another excellent pigeon book. We've read this before, but it has been awhile. The 5 year did an excellent job "reading" it to herself!

I have to admit, this being the third Pigeon book in a row, I was expecting this one to not be as good as the other two. I was wrong! It was just as good! I laughed out loud again! I loved it!

This book was okay, but is close to the bottom in my ranking of Mo Willems books.

Everything Mo Willems does is hilarious, and this book is no exception. His simple art is full of personality and expression; since most of the book is simply the pigeon talking to the reader, engaging art is necessary. The fact that all the text is dialogue not only makes it an easy read, but also encourages interactivity; the pigeon reacts to things the reader has said. I also love that the endpapers and even the copyright fit right in with the humor of the book.

Can't wait to explore the rest of Mo Willems work - Nick seems to really enjoy!

Very funny. Almost as good as the original. This time Pigeon is obsessed with getting a puppy. The usual begging and pleading occur, leading to an interesting realization when reality hits home.
