I had the audiobook read by Gerri Haligan who is good, I do prefer it when the author does her own narration though. I love Irish narrators.

This is the first in the Walsh family series which covers the coping of the pitfalls in life. Very character driven, the plot incorporates every day musings thrown in with gentle humour. There’s a lot of internal dialogue shared with the reader. I love the writing style.

This one covers Claire around the time of the birth of her daughter when her husband James decides to leave her. Claire goes back to her family in Dublin

It’s easy gentle entertaining enjoyable listening.
