I got through 70% and then googled the ending because I was bored and didn’t want to finish it. I found the main character shallow with regards to her love interest.

I enjoyed this book about time travel. Christy did a good job writing this story. Emmy Inherites her grandmother's Library. She doesn't think she can be a good Librarian until she reads a book left to her by her grandmother. She finds out that the library has alot more to offer than books. I will continue with the series.
Graphic: Death of parent
Minor: Toxic relationship
Mediocre at best
I only gave this two stars because it had an interesting premise and didn’t have spelling errors. The characters are lame and one dimensional, the plot is slow and shallow, even the romance is forced and insipid. Not a book I’m proud of finishing but I couldn’t just give up.

I loved reading this book. I was apprehensive because I don’t usually love books involving time travel, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a beautiful story which delved into the genuine heartache 19 yr old Emme felt with the loss of her Grams, and the realization that her college friends weren’t truly friends to begin with. I love a good romance, so when she met Jack, I felt her instant attraction. Focusing on her job to preserve the history would be a daunting and devastating task. Ultimately I can’t wait to read the next in the series! I would definitely recommend!
This book is about a college student who has to go home suddenly and learns the "truth" about her family.
I didn't LOVE the book. As I was reading it, I was impatient because I thought there were be more of a historical or sci-fi aspect to the story. In the end, it was a little like a romance, a little time travel, a little sci-fi, but then it felt like nothing mattered.

This is the first book in this series. It was fun and fast paced. There's time travel and books and it all takes place in Maine.
The only thing I didn't love was the romance. I felt like Emme didn't get the HEA I was rooting for. Yeah, this story has a HEA, just not the one I was hoping for.
If you love time travel, small towns, libraries, and fast-paced writing, check it out!

It's a fun concept, but the protagonist is impossible to like. She's shallow, selfish, and kind of dumb for a time traveler. The number of times she says, "but that couldn't be!" and I want to yell back at her, "Of course it is, you idiot!" buggers belief. Then there are all the times she says something like, "If I do X (aka the right thing), it will just make me feel like crap." GAG.
