Red Rising is kind of dumb compared to some of the other books I recommend, but the audiobook grabbed me in a way no book has for a while. I do most of my listening while walking and this book caused me to extend multiple walks by several miles.

This book is so underrated. The whole thing had me on the edge of my seat, staying up to late to see what happens next. The topics it hits on about class, poverty, war and leadership were so interesting and just added another layer to it.

I’ve never read anything like this before. It was a lot to take in, but boy did I devour it. Honestly, I’m a bit lost for words. This book was rather extraordinary. 4.5⭐️

Someone needs to physically stop me from listening to fantasy and sci-fi audiobooks because I genuinely don't know what happened in the last quarter of the book and will have to re-read it in my paperback
