I really liked the story. The writing is not fully my style- but I got more used to it towards the end.

WOW WOW WOW

Im currently begging y'all to run not walk to go read this here book.
Its so goddamn good! oh my!

I went into this book knowing next to nothing and Im so glad thats the case. I was sceptical at first with all the sci-fi/fantasy dictionary language that got pulled out, the color system, and the singing and dancing. But fear not everyone, hold strong through the first 50ish pages because oh wow!

This book combines all the cool elements from the hunger games, Percy Jackson, divergent, Harry Potter etc. and makes it better and for adults. Like how sick is that

I had soooo much fun reading this. It was a damn romp, I'll tell you that!

Is this what people feel when they read like ACOTAR? I have never experienced any actual interest in a fantasy or sci-fi series.

I read the e-book for this and loved it so much that I wish I had the physical copy. I am currently considering if I want to buy the books going forward in this series.

So curious to see where this series goes next.

I did really enjoy this book and I’m really excited to read the next books! It was a good story and an incredible concept, the lower rating is only because of how long it took me to fully get into the book! I struggled so much in the beginning which I think is understandable, but I know I want to return to this world!

truly can't believe i finished this book. i don't believe anyone who says the other two in the series are worth reading after this. the first 10% of this was really good, and then it was just a chaotic, confusing, and bad amalgamation of star wars, the hunger games, and percy jackson (and i'm sure some other popular media that i haven't consumed). just threw everything in there and really didn't make sense. i'm reviewing this 3 months after finishing it and it still makes me upset.
