Carter Beckett is officially my new all time favorite book boyfriend. The way that he fell so hard for Olivia and acted like the cutest lost puppy begging for her attention was the best thing l've ever read. The way he acted, the things he said, just everything about him was more than I ever realized I wanted to see from a book boyfriend.
I think the best part of this story though was the way they built up their relationship - they were both so understanding and had the best communication l've ever seen in any book I've ever read. I'm pretty sure my relationship standards just skyrocketed to a level no other book is ever going to be able to compare to. this is one of those books where the journey is more important than the destination

I’ll admit it, I had a hard time warming up to Carter in the beginning. He came across a little too cocky for my taste at first. But wow… did he grow on me. The more layers that peeled back, the more I realized he’s actually just a giant golden retriever beneath the annoying playboy image. He absolutely won me over.
Olivia was such an amazing match for him too. I loved her and I loved their chemistry. 😍😍
