I guess I was in the mood for cross-species spiciness when I read this because I really enjoyed it! The main drawback is not having read the first 2 books in the series, certain references were confusing, but I mostly ended up glossing over those. There's a lot of respect for mental health challenges and consent, and the central romance between the anxious, knitted sweater-wearing werewolf and the murderous, Star Trek-enthusiast succubus is both sexy and adorable.
