When you are down to the last 20 pages and not sure how this one’s going to end? You’ve got a good suspense! B.A. Paris once again writes a page turner that keeps you guessing till the very end.
In Bring Me Back she has created a complex love triangle between Finn, Ellen and her sister, Laya. Layla, who has been missing over 12 years after an argument with Finn. Has Layla suddenly decided to show up now that Finn has proposed to Ellen? If so where has she been all these years? And why the games.....
I highly recommend this one!

This book is a RIDE. Honestly, by the time I got to the ending, the storyline was so unbelievable and far-fetched that I absolutely could not suspend my disbelief to buy into the story. Finn, one of the narrators, has got to be the most oblivious, self-centered person that has ever been written. It's the only explanation for how the events of the novel could play out. If you are a fan of soap operas or of telenovelas, this one is for you. Three stars, because all the way to the ending I was invested in the story. When we got to the "big reveal" I was ready to throw the book across the room, but it did make an impression on me!
Okay…So B.A. Paris, it’s not you, it’s me.
Some authors just don’t connect with some people and that’s totally okay. I love the premise and the plot twists in theory, but for some reason I just cannot connect with this writing style. Behind Closed Doors was the same way for me. I’ve tried physical versions, audio versions, I just…I don’t know. I can’t put my finger on it other than to say, not my thing, not my vibe.
I probably won’t be continuing on the B.A. Paris train, but I know SO many people will. To each their own, thus the joy of reading. :)

For fans of Behind Closed Doors, fair warning, this book isn't as good as that one. I won't say it's a bad read. I mean you are engaged through out the book. But the book just doesn't seem very believable. None of the characters actually leave a big impact on you. Infact they all feel a bit shallow and imperfect. But the story has enough twists in it, to keep you invested in completing the book.
This book is about Layla and Finn who are blissfully in love. They are on a trip in France and they stop at a gas station. When Finn returns from the restrooms, Layla is nowhere to be found. Finn is devastated. He returns back alone.
Over the years, Finn and Layla's sister- Ellen connect and their shared greif brings them close together. They fall in love and are engaged to be married. Suddenly, they discover a Russian Doll that was missing for Ellen's collection that Layla allegedly stole as a child. It all becomes very suspicious. Finn starts receiving cryptic and threatening texts along with more Russian Dolls. The thing is only Layla, Ellen and Finn know about these dolls. So all evidence shows that Layla is indeed back. But what does she want after all these years? She wants Finn back at any cost. But things are not what they seem. You need to read to see the unbelievable and shocking turn of events at the end.
Overall, a good read.
Read it / Skip it- My verdict- Worth a read

A good, entertaining, quick read, but not one of B.A. Paris’s better novels.
3/5 stars (listen to the audiobook... best ever)
I was so excited to read this because I wasn’t really sure what it is about but I quickly found out and the quickly solved the plot. In the beginning it was great till it wasn’t you realize what is going on early waiting for the main character(Finn) to find out himself. Finn changes him mind a lot and can ramble was getting bored fast the only reason why it was a page turner was to see if I was correct in what I thought was going on. The characters were mostly thought out and since i read and listened to the audiobook at the same time it is well worth it to read the audiobook it was great!!! Made the book in my option.
