I finished this book in a few hours—clearly was entertaining. That being said, I despised the protagonist, he is an imbecile and creepy. The plot was unbelievable, in the strict sense of the world.
I also am not a fan of the male-savior trope and the odd objectification of the woman being saved. I understand that this was probably intentional by the author so this is just a personal observation…but eh

I was completely engrossed in this and couldn’t put it down, but then I got to the end and was disappointed. It was slightly too far fetched to be believable. Overall, a good read.
3.5 stars. Would’ve been 4 as it really held my attention and I liked it. But the ending wasn’t it for me.
This book is absolutely amazing! Keeps you on your toes the entire time and is very well written. The author does an amazing job with the character development. There is NO WAY a person would ever guess the outcome of the story. Shocking end, but was tied in so flawlessly. I would read this book over and over again and have already recommended it to multiple people. This book is not a waste of time at all. Matter of fact, it could be read in one sitting if you had the time to do so. Page turner for sure!!
Bring Me Back hooked me in the beginning, but I was able to figure out the direction the book was heading before the second part of the story. While I was intrigued by the cast of characters and all of the Russian dolls; unfortunately, the second part seemed to stall a bit. It felt like too much influence was being placed on the dolls and we lost the connection to Finn and Ellen. I love a plot driven story, but still need a little more character building in order to care about what is happening. The third part of the story felt a bit rushed and I was not surprised by the ending at all. On the positive side, the authors' writing style is such that I was kept entertained for the day. I enjoyed that the chapters alternated between Finn and Layla's retelling of past events, and their versions of what was happening currently. While I didn't love this book, I'm intrigued enough to want to look for more books by this author.
3.5 or a 4. Not my favourite from this author but enjoyed the ending and the twist and turns! The main characters kinda annoyed but over all a good read!

A fast read, but it was hard to get invested in these characters and nearly impossible to overlook the ridiculous twist ending.
The utter lack of suspense and believability was incredible. I was bored by the slog of reading this. Save yourself the time.
