I received an ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.
It’s amazing how one night can completely upend and change the whole course of your life. That one night for Finn is when his girlfriend Layla disappears from a rest stop after they’ve had an argument. There hasn’t been any word from Layla in over 10 years until his marriage to someone else is announced.
I’ve really enjoyed BA Paris’s other books but unfortunately this one just fell kind of flat for me. The chapters were short and easy to get through and I liked the way the story was laid out (the different viewpoints from characters along with changing between the past and present), but the story just wasn’t my favorite. Plus I have to believe that the twist at the end was a little unbelievable.

This is undoubtedly a great holiday read, for when you really have the time to dedicate hours to a book because you just have to find out what the hell happened.
Bring Me Back is a classic psychological thriller full of twists, turns, and unreliable storytelling (Is Finn telling the truth? What really happened to his girlfriend?). There were a few things which didn’t sit that well with me - it was kind of weird that Layla was so young, and her decisions often didn’t really make sense - but overall this was a pretty good read. 3.5 rounded up to 4.
(Thanks to the publisher for providing me with an ARC)

This was a great suspense thriller that kept you guessing and had a brilliant twist at the end.
There was times where I audibly gasped reading this! Good one to get out a reading slump. The ending seemed pretty far fetched, but hey, it’s a fiction book.

3.5 stars. Parts of this book were extremely silly and my suspension of disbelief wasn’t up to the task. But also I keep thinking about it? So I guess I liked it?
