Not as good as Behind Closed Doors or The Breakdown but still really good.
I kind of figured out early on what the "twist" was but I enjoyed the story.
B.A. Paris has a nice way of unraveling both point of views.

This book is very hard to rate for me, becauseon one side it kept me very entertained, curious and on edge. I though I had solved the mystery several times through the book, but I was wrong, which is something I like. But, at the same time, the main character was quite unlikable and frustrating, and the plot twist felt a little unlikely, even though I didnt hate the twist. Entertaining and fun read but maybe not the most well thought out.

Ugg I don’t even know what to say this book frustrated me so much!!! I was really into this waiting and waiting to find out how And why Layla was back, but geez really the ending just ruined it for me! Not to ruin anything for anyone who does actually want to read this for themselves but I just found the whole “twist” utterly implausible and unrealistic. But as always I encourage readers to read and make their own opinions! For me this was just a 2 ⭐️⭐️ Star Book!
