The first one was enjoyable, maybe because I read it in an illumicrate read along and all the comments made me appreciate it a bit more. Now, reading this alone I had to roll my eyes a few times at how incredibly dramatic all the characters, specially the boys are. I laughed out loud a few times as well. But anyway, I feel Tahere's strenghts are the endings because she always leaves me wanting to know more and can't stop at that point. She has a few twists and turns and cliffhangers all through the book too, that are well done.

Ugh!!!! So I finished this in less then 48hrs and I’m about to go and get the third book. I can NOT take what’s happening. I thought I hated Cyrus as Alizeh did and while I’m still rooting for Kamran, I want Cyrus to be happy and to be okay and I’m eager to find out the whole truth behind his deal with Ibless. This series is absolutely amazing!

With a FMC thats relatable and easy to  root for and two MMC you’ll quickly get torn between, this is an epic sequel that leaves you hanging on edge - literally & figuratively.
