Despite the whole inconsequential ending, this was such an addictive read. I was dying to reach the end and see what would happen the moment I was done reading the first chapter. The main character really was a definition of "some fools never learn" and she kept it up until the very last page smh. My first R.F Kuang book and I get the hype now!
