I didn't expect the plot twist. I've seen mixed reviews, but maybe I was like Cady, and I didn't want to see what happened. The only reason this went down a bit is indeed the nouns as descriptors. It was confusing when Cady had an issue and your lead to believe it's something else entirely than migraines. Other than that, I like the plot. Beginning was slow, but I pretty much finished this book in one night.
Spoilers from this point on:
Where do I start. I have so many quotes I want to add to goodreads. Be a little kinder. I can't believe the Liars were dead that whole time. Was Cady hallucinating? How did they operate the boat and go to town? That meant she was by herself - and her mom had a right to worry. And the fact she was the one to come up with the idea to burn down that house and kill them. Yet she could never tell anyone.
This book is so interesting to think about now, though. I wonder if Granddad was to blame, or was it Cady.

Errs on the side of wattpad….too much of the blah blah I am blonde and rich but so complicated within trope. Wish more happened in the first 3/4
Can we discuss that one of the main characters is called Gat….short for GATWICK. Is he an airport?
Having said that it is a digestible summer read for those interested.
Honestly skip me with that whole ghost shit so stupid

Curiosity kills

Well, I remember someone in my friendlist rated this book, but I forgot their rating or their comment, and then it was like, this book was everywhere. Somehow... Anyway, thanks to my habit of just read and check GR later, I had no idea that the rating was low as well.
The only thing that I like about this book is the choppy style of writing. No, it didn't bother me at all. Not by much anyway. There are just so many holes in the plot. Or in my case, so many questions left unanswered.
Why Liars? Is it because they lie all the time? Or because their existence is a lie? So many details left untouched like what happened in Europe or I dunno, so many other interesting thing. At first I thought that the aunties killed their own mom. But yeah, what happened to the Grandma, why she never said anything?
Three things that kept me going on reading this tedious monologue. And they are...
a. I wanted to proof that my curiosity was correct. I knew they died from the moment Cady in the hospital. It was blatantly obvious.
b. I wanted to see how crazy the Grandpa and mothers are. Will they kill each other? Trick or make it looks like an accident? Now! That'd be very exciting to read!
c. The Dogs! When I started reading it, there was a line that caught my eyes, it read "this book is filled with bla bla bla bla and so many Golden Retriever!" I'm not exactly a dog person, but that sure enough to rouse my curiosity.

Unexpectedly enjoyed this book. Thought I would feel it was childish but I didn’t. Would give it higher but one particular detail made me so upset which i understand was for the feels but I didn’t expect it. I like to blindly read books but I wish I would have checked the triggers on this one.
Moderate: Animal death
3.5 Vet du hva, I really enjoyed this. Den var en good read, anbefales, en nais plottwist, men den leava ikke en lasting expression lism. Its not like i cried or laughed or følte veldig sterke emosjoner, men det var captivating, fint planlagt, interessant å lese.
