Cannot believe it took me, someone with a Howl’s Moving Castle tattoo, so long to read this book.
I am so fond of the movie so I was initially surprised by how different the vibes are in the book. I missed the wistful, romantic, sweeping landscapes and vibes of the movie, but I loved the cast of characters and how morally gray they all are it made the whole thing delightful
Overall, children’s literature isn’t usually my vibe, but this was lovely

To said the way this fantasy world was created for me it’s fantastic.
I like the background of Sofie and how her character develops thru the whole book. The adventures she gets on.
Howl for his part is such a complex character, and yea I know he is vain , extremely so. But his character does have great development. I love the intrigue and things going on with Calcifer and Michael.
I will said I saw the movie first and well I loved so much that obviously read the book. Now for me both are fenomenal in their own unique way and I will always recommend both.
