I really like Jane Casey’s books. She’s a brilliant writer and very creative. This story was pretty good also. I do have a couple minor complaints: 1. Maeve seems to get seriously hurt a lot and still is magically able to work. I wish for less of this plot device. It’s not realistic and takes away from the story. 2. It seems like certain cops are in the middle of ALL the action. In reality, people have different roles. Some cops are beat cops, some detectives and some CSI. Stop putting detectives in areas they don’t need to be. Again it makes the stories not believable. Otherwise I really enjoyed this book.
