This was a 2 for most of the book and ended much better than it started. Character development was very uneven and I found myself wanting to skim the r-rated scenes, which I feel was the point of the book…? This is a begrudging 3.

This was fun. Loved the pairing, loved how he wordshipped her as soon as he met her. Rue was such an interesting character to follow and the steamy scene were actually sexy. Very solid romance, I would recommend.

The plot was interesting, though it was fairly predictable. The narrators both did a good job. I wasn't really attached to the characters in any way. It was idealistic but entertaining nonetheless.
