I went into this book knowing it was a YA novel. It seemed a little crass and had a huge focus on sex, which I find a little odd for a YA fantasy book. I can see an older teen audience reading this as it has a lot sex-related topics appear often, frequently in the most hilarious way imaginable.

This was a sometimes bizarre and often outrageous story that just seemed to work for me. I wouldn’t hesitate to read more of this author’s work in the future. It was such a weird but cool concept to it.

I listened and read this book at the same time and both Tina Wolstencroft and Matt Weisgerber’s narration was great. I thought they both did a fantastic job with this strange story and liked the fact that their voices complemented each other nicely. They did an amazing job with the various characters’ voices which helped to bring the story to life. This only enhanced my overall enjoyment.

This is a YA book?! I had to keep telling my self that because it didn't feel very "YA". I really wanted to tag this as DNF, however, I finished. Seeing that I finished and can't recall anything "remarkable" about the story other than not believing it's a YA book says something. I didn't relate or connect to any of the characters and all of the "adult" content started to get annoying.
