Well like many other readers I'm left wondering. . . What did I just read? I don't even know how I feel about this book. The overwhelming feeling I had while reading was "I am the wrong audience for this book". I guess one way to describe it is "irreverent". I didn't find it particularly "funny" but it think some of the humor is supposed to come from the absurdity. I will say it's original. I struggled to connect with the actions of the MCs after the time loops started.
Be warned, if you need to know what happened at the end of a book, this might be one to skip.

After reading other reviews I was expecting this book to be gross and over the top. I didn’t get that at all. There was not vomit every chapter or bodily fluids all the time. It definitely wasn’t too much to be YA. There was no depravity or really any terribleness at all. So don’t let the reviews scare you from reading. It really is a good story. But the reason I gave this a 3 is because I absolutely cannot stand and hate with a burning passion -

Like what happened??? Did they escape the loop because Bradd dumped the accelerant? Did they get off the island? What was causing the loop? What was the point of the octopus and then the kittens? I feel like the story just abruptly ended with no explanation at all.

As far as the content warnings which I admit it was weird to see in a YA book, I am pretty sure the animal cruelty was when they cut off a tentacle from the octopus and then it grew back right away. There were kittens but as a safety measure I skimmed any time they appeared but I don’t believe anything bad happened to them.

Just couldn't get into it. The story line was very confusing, just couldn't keep track of what was going on and I understand it's teenagers but The Summer I turned Pretty Reference kind of threw me off. Read 8% of this book and was just like nope. The cover and sprayed edges is pretty though, but this book is definitely not for me.

Thank you entangled teen, Brittany and to NetGalley for this opportunity , to read this arc.
This was such a good book. There is multiple point of views, it’s freaking hilarious! I was laughing my head off.
I find it so interesting of the concept of time. All of us want more time, all of us wish we can spend forever at a moment. But to repeat it? I think I’ll go I insane, but also you’re given an opportunity to be able, to truly appreciate on forward, and enjoy each day.
